my favorite sport ever.

one of my absolute favorite things to do is

to watch superman play baseball.

he has quite a passion for this sport.

even though his high school sports career

is slowly winding down he will forever

wear a number on his back in my eyes.

this chapter of my life is coming to a quick end

but the next one is so exciting.

there is no one else that i would have rather spent

this chapter of my life with than you superman.

everything royal.

today is  april 29th.

a day that will now forever be important to london

but a day that has been important to me for the past 13 years.

this morning i yes did wake up at five o clock

to watch THE royal wedding.

im a huge kate fan.

she amazes me how well she

takes the heat of the media but then again

when you look and act like her its not easy to find a flaw.
she truly is a great role model.

 

anyways back to the wedding..

kate looked absolutely stunning.

she pulled of the long sleeved dress

but then again she could pull of wearing anything.

this date is now forever special to not only
london but will be remember by the world for years to come.
but this date will forever be remembered by me.
today would have been sally's 13th birthday.
we called her the queen of our house so therefore
i was far from surprised when i found out the date of the royal wedding.

happy birthday to one of my best friends.

sunday morning i woke up to a basket full of goodies.

a few more hands than usual helped make my easter morning.

in my basket was the typical..

gift cards face wash toothpaste

shampoo conditioner chapstick

candy candy & more candy

all thanks to my wonderful parents.

but this year i also had a special surprise

thanks to ms.courtsimms..
a meredith college tshirt.
with the statement
"its not a girls school with no men,
its a women's college with no boys"

then my mother handed me and envelope

the first thing i noticed was this is not her handwriting..

she had me stumped.

i was surprised to find a lovely letter

from jennifer my big sis at meredith
as well as a sticker for my car.

it really made my morning that these two girls

took the time to make my morning so special.

today is wednesday so you know what that means..

its WOW GOD wendesday.

today has effected my future in two big ways.

1st off today was the day of senior graduation projects.

2nd today i finally sent in my deposit for college.

so i will be officially attending meredith college in the fall.

i couldnt be more sure or happy about my decision.

and i know that this is all because i put this huge

decision in God's hands who helped guide me.


in just a few short months i will be calling
this my 2nd home..

i cannot wait to see what God has planned for my life
from now until im sitting there ready to take on the "real world"

4 weeks ago i had a totally different mind..

in my life these past 4 weeks.

everything fifty.

fifty years.

half a century.

five decades.

sounds like forever away.

well that is what ES's first student body president thought

and then sunday he stood in front of hundreds of alumni and

talked about how he felt that he blinked and fifty years passed by.

while he was talking about how yesterday he felt that he was in

my shoes walking down the halls of ES as a senior..

i felt tears come to my eyes.

that is the first moment all year that it has really hit me.

i am a senior & in just 8 weeks an alumni.

no redos, no i wish i had done..

only make the most of my time left, make memories,

and cherish every second.

even though the next chapter of my life

will be some of the if not the best years of my life

high school has brought me many blessing.

i will forever have life long memories

that happened within the walls of ES.

everything klove.

today is WOW GOD wednesday once again.
at the beginning of the year klove did a 30 day challenge.
they challenged people to listen to only christian music
for 30 days and see how it transforms their relationship with God.
this challenge truly changed lives. over the month of january
i felt that everyday multiple people were calling into klove
saying that they had been saved due the challenge.

"I took the K-LOVE thirty day challenge the beginning of this year to only listen to Christian music. Now it's the only thing I listen to. When I noticed a difference in myself, I decided to challenge my husband to the same.

ive had quite a collection of animals

over the years but never a cat.

today that all changed.

the kitten is currently too little to determine

whether its a male or a female.

but since gilberts mothers name is leroy

i decided that if it was a female

i would carry on the family tradition

with a male name.

wednesday night was

beat cancer with a bat night.

a girl that means the world to me and her grandfather

who means the world to her were the inspiration for the night.

jess is sweet, unselfish, and always looking at the upside.

anyone that meets her would know this within 2 minutes.
