the day i thought was so far away
and now its come and gone.

(here is a preview of a few of the pictures from awards day..)

with only four more days
of walking through the halls of ES as a student
and less than two weeks until graduation
everything is quickly coming to an end.

everything coming to an end.

dear superman-
some people say that sports are just a game
but sports are more than just the game.
sports have brought you..
true friends
laughs
tears
stories
passion
bruises & strawberries
but most of all life long memories.
you will forever wear a number on your back in my eyes.
even though that this chapter of your life has come to an end
the next chapter is so exciting.
if you take what you have learned on the field and court
into your future you will be very successful.
one of my favorite things ive done in high school
most definitely has to be watching you play the games that you love.
but my ABSOLUTE favorite part of high school
was when i realized that everything that i had been looking for
had been right beside me the whole time...
realizing this has forever changed me as a person.
you make me a better person.
i thank God everyday for allowing our paths to cross.
thank you for being by my side the whole way
and most of all for teaching me the true meaning of love.

we have two more weeks before we are alumni of ES.
lets make them two weeks to remember.
i love you superman
and no matter what He has planned for us
you will forever hold a special place in my heart.

with love always,
your biggest fan
both on and off the field/court.

everything offical.

saturday
i attend meredith college
advising and registration day.
the day made everything so real for me.
as i drove out of the gates of meredith and headed home
i took a moment think to myself...
this is the place that i willspend a good 3/4 of my year starting this august.
the place that i will call my home away from home.

photocredit.

after meeting my roommate in person,
finalizing my schedule for the fall,
placing out of spanish uno,
and visiting the bookstore
i knew that today had been a very successful day.

nothing unlucky.

last friday was
friday the thirteenth.
as a reward for surviving ap calculus
our class took a trip to carowinds.

let me back up and say
i am a senior in high school
and yes my parents are roller coaster junkies
but no i have never rode a roller coaster.
friday may 13th, 2011
was the day. the day i rode my 1st roller coaster.
as well as allie.

waiting in lane for our first roller coaster.
i was a little more excited than her.

the intimidater was the lucky one.
as soon as i stepped off i knew
i was officially addicted to roller coasters.
then it was off to many many more roller coasters.
im already planning my next trip.

everything blessings.

WOW GOD saturday?!?
all day wednesday i thought i it was tuesday.
therefore i had no idea it was wednesday..
WOW GOD wednesday that is.
well then blogger was down for two days.
so here is a song that i absolutely love and
i think everyone can relate to it
with lyrics of course.
so listen while you read along..
hope you enjoy!

"We pray for blessings, we pray for peace
Comfort for family, protection while we sleep
We pray for healing, for prosperity
We pray for Your mighty hand to ease our suffering

All the while You hear each spoken need
Yet love is way too much to give us lesser things

'Cause what if Your blessings come through raindrops
What if Your healing comes through tears?
What if a thousand sleepless nights
Are what it takes to know You're near?

What if trials of this life
Are Your mercies in disguise?

We pray for wisdom, Your voice to hear
We cry in anger when we cannot feel You near
We doubt Your goodness, we doubt Your love
As if every promise from Your Word is not enough

And all the while You hear each desperate plea
And long that we'd have faith to believe

'Cause what if Your blessings come through raindrops
What if Your healing comes through tears?
And what if a thousand sleepless nights
Are what it takes to know You're near?

And what if trials of this life
Are Your mercies in disguise?

When friends betray us, when darkness seems to win

We know that pain reminds this heart
That this is not, this is not our home
It's not our home

'Cause what if Your blessings come through raindrops
What if Your healing comes through tears?
And what if a thousand sleepless nights
Are what it takes to know You're near?

What if my greatest disappointments
Or the aching of this life
Is the revealing of a greater thirst
This world can't satisfy?

And what if trials of this life
The rain, the storms, the hardest nights
Are Your mercies in disguise?"

everything mothers.

happy mothers day
to my mother.
to my grandmothers.
to the women in my life that are my second mothers.
to mothers that have been called home.
to mothers of today.
to  mothers-to-be.

yesterday consisted of..
a great church service.
an amazing lunch.
 naps. naps. naps.
for everyone.

family time.

and most of all celebrating my mother.

thank you mommy
for always putting me before yourself,
loving me unconditionally,
always being there when no one else was there,
always taking care of me,
feeding me, doing my laundry,
driving me everywhere i needed to be,
teaching me how to become the person i am today,
being a role model,
and most of all..
for being the best mother in the world.

everything stalker.

due to the fact that our yearbook is complete,
third period consist of 90minutes of trying
to figure out how to make time fly by.
so today i decided to blogger stalk
and search through random peoples blogs
and hope that their lives could entertain me.
i soon came across a fellow blogger who calls her blog..
not only did the title, subtitle, & pictures in the header
make me love where this blog was headed
but i came across one post in particular that hit home..
it gave me a quick reality check &
reminder that one day i will be in this woman's shoes
looking back on my life today
wanting to give myself advice.
no matter what i will always remember that..
everything happens for a reason
and everything makes me the person i am today
and will be in the future.
