give thanks to Him for everything.

this semester i have flex first period

therefore i do not have to be at school until around 9:25ish
but today was a different due to the two hour delay so
 i didnt have to be at school until 11:00am

but just my luck i woke up at 7:25am expecting to see the sun rising

which is normally occurring around this time.
i am far from a morning person but sun rises are one of
my favorite things that nature provides.

i was thirsty got i got up to get a glass of water 
& was planning to get back in bed & sleep for another 2hours.
when i looked outside all i saw was a dark cloudy yucky morning.

at that moment i thought to myself about how much i take for granted.

a simple gorgeous sunrise..

is something that i had never took the time to thank God for.

And i started to just realize all of these things that God has given me..

that sometimes i just take for granted.

So i decided to just step back and take a look around me this morning,

and to take the time to see what beauty i have around me

in the things that He has created for us.

i quickly thought of this song..

because from something as simple as watching a sunrise
 to a child coming into the world.

we need to thank God daily for all that he does for us.

Praise the Lord!
